2. Keep the position(s) open until additional applications are received, and direct staff to return at a future City Council meeting for the appointment(s).
SUMMARY OF THE MATTER
The Parking, Traffic, and Circulation Committee is a seven-member body that acts in an advisory capacity on matters pertaining to parking, traffic, circulation, and traffic complaints. Meetings are generally held on the fourth Thursday of the month at 6:00 p.m.
DISCUSSION
On March 31, 2026, the terms of three PTC Committee members will expire: Lauriann Meyer, Brandon Rippeon, and Mike Simmons. For the three openings, two applications have been received:

The City Council can opt to leave all three positions open while continuing to seek applications, and the committee would still have a majority with the four remaining members. Or, the City Council can opt to appoint one or both of the applicants, and leave the remaining position(s) open until additional applications are received.
