Good morning, Mayor Orgill and Council Members,
As I communicated last week I will not be able to attend this evening's Council meeting.
T understand you will be considering "Appeals Days" as part of Consent Item 15 this evening. While I understand that Council has a time consumptive schedule already, I support Staff's recommendation for quarterly meetings to hear appeals, as not to extend regular Council business to the oft occurring early morning hours. I also support the recommendation for a 1pm start.
From the applicant's side we support a May 13th appeal date for the Valido appeal. Pushing us further back into June and beyond would be unfair to the property owner.
I appreciate your consideration.
Steve

Good morning, Mayor Orgill and Council Members,
The applicant team looks forward to having a date certain scheduled for the City Council appeal hearing on this item, as the project was approved by the Design Review Board in September 2025. Due to a prior commitment, I will not be present at the Council meeting on Tuesday, but I do not have additional comments beyond those provided at the February 24 public hearing.
While we would appreciate the appeal being heard as early as possible, the applicant team understands that the architectural historians require time to complete their reviews. At this time, our consultants are available from the week of April 20 through the week of May 18, which should allow City staff sufficient time to prepare the Agenda Report.
