BUSINESS
17 SUBJECT: PRESENTATION BY MISSION HOSPITAL LAGUNA BEACH RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:
1. Receive and file a presentation from Mission Hospital Laguna Beach regarding hospital operations, services, community programs, and other matters of interest to the Laguna Beach community; and
2. Find that receiving and filing the presentation is not subject to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15378 because the action does not constitute a project.
SUMMARY OF THE MATTER
Mission Hospital Laguna Beach will provide a presentation to the City Council regarding hospital operations, healthcare services, community outreach efforts, and other initiatives serving Laguna Beach residents. The presentation is intended to provide information to the City Council and the public and does not require any action beyond receiving and filing the presentation.
FINANCIAL ANALYSIS
The recommended action has no financial impact to the budget.
ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS
This action is not subject to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15378 because receiving and filing an informational presentation does not constitute a project and will not result in a direct or reasonably foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment.
