Subject: Opposition to Proposed Increases and Adjustments to Solid Waste Service Charges Dear Mr. McAvoy,
We are writing to formally oppose the proposed increases and adjustments to solid waste service charges received on May 11, 2026. I request that the proposed changes to our solid waste fees be denied for the reasons outlined below.
1. lnsufficient justification
2. No demonstrated improvement in service or value
3. Short notice of proposed rate increase
4. Equity and affordability concerns
5. Alternatives and benchmarking not addressed
6. Requested action, deny rate increase.
