5 SUBJECT: LAGUNA BEACH CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION UPDATE
RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:
1. Receive a presentation from the Centennial Committee highlighting programming for the upcoming Centennial celebration year.
SUMMARY OF THE MATTER
The City will celebrate its 100th Birthday on June 29, 2027. Throughout the year, a full schedule of commemorative programming and community events will mark this milestone and honor the history, people, and future of Laguna Beach.
