INTERVIEWS OF APPLICANTS FOR PURPOSES OF APPOINTING PARKS AND RECREATION
COMMISSIONERS
Commission Interviews and Appointments
Recommendation: That the City Council interview applicants for the Parks and Recreation Commission, appoint one person to a partial term ending January 2023, and appoint one person to a partial term ending January 2025 to fill the two unscheduled vacancies on the Parks and Recreation Commission.
The City Council conducted interviews of two applicants to fill the two vacancies on the Parks and Recreation Commission.
A motion to: 1) Appoint Sanjay Mathur to the Parks and Recreation Commission for a partial term ending January 2025; and 2) Appoint Neel Patel to the Parks and Recreation Commission for a partial term ending January 2023 was made by Council Member Pezold, seconded by Mayor Pro Tempore Heft.
