Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Mayor Pro Tempore Caskey.

City Council Public Hearing Item
1 First Public Hearing to Consider Composition of Districts for Commencing the Process to Transition to By-District Elections
Recommendation: That the City Council: 1. Receive and file introduction to districting presentation prepared by the City’s retained expert demographer National Demographics Corporation; and 2. Conduct the First Public Hearing necessary for commencing the process to transition to by-district elections, review and consider input regarding the composition of districts from interested members of the public, and provide further direction to City staff.
City Attorney Simonian reviewed the information provided in the staff report and responded to Council Member requests for additional information.
Dr Justin Levitt, Vice-President, National Demographics Corporation (NDC) provided a PowerPoint presentation and responded to Council Member requests for additional information.
Mayor Pro Tempore Caskey opened the public hearing.
Mayor Pro Tempore Caskey closed the public hearing.

There being no further business before the City Council at this session, Mayor Pro Tempore Caskey declared the meeting adjourned at 7:07 p.m.
