Subject:SB 1 Broadway Street Tract Pavement Resurfacing Project FY 24/25 Recommendation
Adopt A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING A LIST OF PROJECTS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024-2025 FUNDED BY SB: THE ROAD REPAIR AND ACCOUNTABILITY ACT OF 2017.
Background
The new resolution will be uploaded to “CALSMART” web tool in order to obtain project approval for SB 1 funding for Fiscal Year 2024/2025.
Bucknam Infrastructure Group performed a Pavement Assessment in 2022. Based on their pavement condition survey (02/2022), the Broadway Street Tract pavement condition indexes were rated on a scale from 0 to 100 depicting condition of existing pavement. Resurfacing recommendations are divided into the following categories based on the pavement condition. •Slurry Seal
•2” Grind and Overlay
•4” Asphalt Reconstruction
Discussion
The Broadway Street Tract Pavement Resurfacing Project will include Type II Slurry Seal, 2” grind and overlay, and 4” asphalt reconstruction. The following areas for the project are as follows:

The estimated cost for the Broadway Street Tract Pavement Resurfacing Project is $2,001,210.
Once SB 1 funding is secured, areas from the list above will be advertised for bid. The City of Lake Elsinore’s projected SB 1 allocation for FY 2024-2025 is $1,841,959.

Fiscal Impact
The funding allocation for the Broadway Street Tract Pavement Resurfacing Project will be from the allocated SB 1 funds with the remainder being funded from Measure A.
