Subject:Agreement with Lancet Contracting, Inc. for Minor On-call Construction and Repair Services
Recommendation
Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement/contract with Lancet Contracting, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $200,000 for On-Call construction and repair services in such final form as approved by the City Attorney.
Background
On-call contracts allow a city to deploy construction and repair services rapidly and efficiently under pre-negotiated terms. The City may require services if the City cannot provide or perform these services internally or if there is an urgent unforeseen matter. The on-call and minor construction services in the City of Lake Elsinore are necessary to maintain city amenities and successfully execute minor projects.
Discussion
This on-call contractor will perform various on-call repairs and minor construction work. All assigned work will be proposed in writing, reviewed, negotiated by our Staff, and approved before execution. This agreement is needed to ensure continued on-call and minor construction contractor support for immediate operational demands and minor construction projects.
Fiscal Impact
Funds are budgeted in the Fiscal Year 2024-25 budget.
