Background
In the past several years, the outdoor recreational sport of pickleball has become very popular in the United States. The demand for pickleball in Lake Elsinore is high. Pickleball is a fun, social and friendly game. The rules are simple, and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a fast-paced, competitive game. This fun sport combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. The game can be played both indoors or outdoors on a badminton- sized court and a slightly modified tennis court. Essentially, it is played with a paddle and a plastic ball with holes and can be played as doubles or singles. Possibly most important, it can be enjoyed by all ages and skill levels at very little cost.
