Subject:Amendment No. 3 to the Contractor Services Agreement with Blue Triton Brands, Inc. (DBA ReadyRefresh) for Additional Water Delivery Services Recommendation
Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 3 with Blue Triton Brands, Inc. (DBA ReadyRefresh) for additional water delivery services and increase compensation by an additional $1,494.26 for a total not to exceed $10,994.26 per Fiscal Year in such final form as approved by the City Attorney.
Background
The City entered into the original agreement on June 14, 2021, for $6,000.00 for water delivery services to City owned facilities. On June 6, 2023, the City approved Amendment No. 1 by an additional $500.00 to cover additional fees and services. On January 31, 2024, the City approved Amendment No. 2 by an additional $3,000.00 not to exceed $9,500 for additional 5 gallon water bottles and water dispensers throughout Citywide Facilities.
Discussion
Amendment No. 3 is requested to include additional water delivery services. The City of Lake Elsinore has identified a need for increased water supply due to the growing demand and usage in its Citywide Facilities. ReadyRefresh has provided and ensured a reliable and efficient supply of water delivery services to support the hydration needs of the city’s employees and visitors.
Fiscal Impact
Funds are available in the Fiscal Year 23-24 Annual Operating Budget.
