Subject:Agreement with David Evans and Associates, Inc., for Construction Support Services for the I-15/Main Street Interchange Landscape Project (CIP Project No. Z10094)
Recommendation
Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute a Professional Service Agreement with David Evans and Associates Inc., to perform as needed professional services for Construction Support Services for the I-15 / Main Street Interchange Landscape Project in the amount of $25,800 in such form as approved by the City Attorney and authorize the City Manager to execute change orders not to exceed a 10% contingency of $2,580.00 for unanticipated costs.
Background
David Evans and Associates Inc. prepared the approved construction Plans for the I-15 / Main Street Interchange Landscape Project and will be providing construction support services including providing construction input to ensure the contractor is constructing the project in accordance with approved design plans. Tasks include Pre-Construction meetings, field visits, to verify installation of irrigation materials, planting materials and erosion control. David Evans and Associates Inc. will also be preparing As-Built drawings at the completion of the project.
Discussion
David Evans and Associates Inc. will be performing three tasks:
•Construction Support Services
•As-Built Plans
•Reimbursable Expenses
These tasks will be performed on a Time and Material basis with a not-to-exceed fee of $25,800.00 plus an additional 10% contingency.

Fiscal Impact
The Professional Services Agreement will result in a cost of $25,800 plus an additional 10% contingency of $2,580. Funding for this project is allocated within the approved CIP Budget.
