Subject:On-Call Agreement with CM Wash Equipment for Maintenance of Wash Stations and Equipment for Citywide Facilities
Recommendation
Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute a Contractor Services Agreement with CM Wash Equipment for the maintenance of wash stations and equipment for Citywide Facilities in an amount not to exceed $60,000.00 annually in such final form as approved by the City Attorney and authorize the City Manager to execute change orders not to exceed a 10% contingency of $6,000.00 for unanticipated costs.
Background
For the past five years, CM Wash Equipment has been the exclusive service provider for the city, delivering comprehensive mobile maintenance services. Their expertise includes servicing pressure washers, car wash bays, paint sprayer machines, golf carts, utility carts, and air compressors at Fire Stations, unlike other companies that only offer parts and equipment.
Discussion
This agreement will ensure the continued delivery of quality service tailored to the city’s specific needs, aimed at preventing equipment breakdowns and ensuring optimal functionality. Scheduled maintenance will be performed routinely to uphold equipment performance, while additional services will be available on an as-needed basis, with costs varying as detailed in the attached schedule.
