Site Details

● Launch Point Treatment Area ○ Location: Northern shoreline recreation area ○ Estimated Coverage Area: 150 Acre-f ● ● Coors Light Cove Treatment Area ○ Location: Southeastern shoreline inlet ○ Estimated Coverage Area: 150 Acre-feet ●

Phase 1: Algaecide Pretreatment
● Application of an EPA-approved algaecide (GreenClean 5.0) to target and disrupt active algal blooms. ● Algaecide will be applied in accordance with label instructions and regulatory guidelines. ● Objective: To prepare the water column by freeing reactive phosphorus prior to Phoslock application.

BID PROPOSAL DATE: 08/01/2025
Phase 2: Phoslock Application
● Material: 17,325 lbs of Phoslock per treatment site. ● Method: Boat-based slurry deployment using calibrated equipment to ensure even dispersion. ● Sequence: Application will immediately follow algaecide treatment once safe and effective phosphorus release is confirmed.
● Target: Phoslock will bind free reactive phosphorus in the water column and settle to the bottom, locking phosphorus

into

the

sediment

matrix.

Post-Treatment Monitoring & Reporting
● Water samples will be collected pre- and post-treatment to evaluate changes in phosphorus concentrations. ● Temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, Total Dissolved Solids, Salinity, Conductivity, and Secchi Depth will be monitored

during

and

after

application.
● A summary report will be provided for each site including water quality data.

Assumptions
● Weather and lake conditions are suitable for safe boat operation and product deployment. ● Access is provided to each shoreline and launch ramp for boat deployment and staging. ● Permits or approvals from local agencies (e.g., city, water district, State water board) have been obtained by the City
