Subject:Annual On-Call Services Agreement with Hemet Fence in Support of City of Lake Elsinore Public Works Operations
Recommendation
Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute an Agreement with Hemet Fence in the amount of $200,000 to support public works operations in such final form as approved by the City Attorney and authorize the City Manager to execute change orders not to exceed a 10% contingency of $20,000 for uncertainties and adjustments.
Background
The On-Call Services in the City of Lake Elsinore Public Works Operations are essential to provide minor construction, repairs, and fencing projects in support of the City of Lake Elsinore’s Public Works Operations. Hemet Fence offers round-the-clock, on-demand support for projects such as fence installation, maintenance, and related site improvements, ensuring quick response to operational needs and keeping city facilities safe and functional.
Discussion
Staff would like to continue with the essential fencing services to meet immediate operational demands and augment ongoing maintenance needs. All assigned work will be proposed in writing, reviewed, negotiated by staff, and approved before implementation.
Fiscal Impact
Funds are available in the City’s Annual Operating & Capital Improvement Budgets for FY25-26.
