RECOGNITION OF COMMUNITY HERO VANESSA BURDICK
RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):
Present a certificate of recognition.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Vanessa Burdick served as the Director for the Peace Community Resource Center at Saddleback Church, where she oversaw community services ranging from food distribution to those experiencing food insecurity to tutoring programs in math and science. Vanessa has also been a reliable volunteer for the City of Lake Forest, providing thoughtful invocations at Council meetings, as well as being an enthusiastic participant at Lake Forest community programs, such as the Clean Lake Forest and Dump Day events.
Staff recommends the City Council present a certificate of recognition to Community Hero Vanessa Burdick for helping build a strong connection between the City and Saddleback Church and for her years of service to the community in Lake Forest.

There is no fiscal impact associated with this recommendation.
