TASTE OF LAKE FOREST RETURNS
RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):
Receive and file the 2024 Taste of Lake Forest presentation.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The Taste of Lake Forest is an annual event hosted since 2011 in collaboration with the Lake Forest Chamber of Commerce. The event provides a platform for local restaurants to showcase their culinary offerings, fostering community engagement and celebrating the diverse flavors of Lake Forest's dining scene.
The event will return in 2024, cohosted by the Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Orange County (“OC”) Supervisor Donald P. Wagner, CR&R Environmental Services, and OC Parks, on June 21, 2024, at Heritage Hill Historical Park, from 4:30 to 8:00 p.m.
Attendees can anticipate a range of experiences, including sampling dishes from 28 local restaurants, enjoying a beer and wine garden, participating in an opportunity drawing, and being entertained by live music from 90s Rockshow.
Tickets are priced at $40 per person through the event’s website, and $45 dollars at the door, available exclusively to individuals aged 18 and up. Tickets can be purchased through the event's website (TasteofLF.com).
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact associated with the recommended item.
