#4 Taste of Lake Forest…ABC informed me that they are still waiting for the remaining documents from the organization holding the event (Chamber of Commerce). Once all documents are in, and conditions are signed, all will be processed. Once processed, it'll then get assigned to an agent who will further look into the event.
PUBLIC COMMENTS
Now that Mayor John Tettmer has retired from IRWD on Friday June 14, 2024, he has PLENTY of time to talk with me about the KIDDER-Matthews $2.3M contract….if he has the courage….
Benjamin Y u has legal problems. He no longer lives at 28 Forster Baker Ranch; he now lives at (HYATT Regency) 102 Paseo Foothill Ranch across from the Mercedes-Benz dealer. I wonder, is he still on the Baker Ranch HOA??? Benjamin Y u reimbursement for mileage is a F R A U D!! attached is the 23 pages from the April 17-19 trip to Sacramento. The April 16th council comments, the councilman never said the next day he would be in Sacramento attending the “League of California Cities” and what the benefit is for Lake Forest residents.
Next, he submitted reimbursement for driving his gas guzzler BMW X5 to Sacramento and claiming $577.54!! “Fly Anytime” with Southwest is ridiculous! The councilman could have flown Spirit Airlines for $178.00 Round trip from John Wayne arriving Sacramento in plenty of time for the first meeting. No gasoline receipts, no beginning or ending odometer reading. No report to the mayor or residents what the meeting was about. FRAUD, FRAUD, FRAUD, FRAUD!!!

#11Lake Forest Chamber of Commerce
I oppose the $42,000.00 to the Lake Forest Chamber of Commerce. When are they going to take competing business off the website that conflicts with Lake Forest business. The President lives in San Clemente!!!
The Chamber was provided $10,000.00 for assistance with the roll-out of the BOGO program. However, they did a POOR a poor job, “Staff” took over the enrollments of new business.
DISCUSSION/ACTION ITEMS
I oppose the “bonus” to the city manager. Please advise how this was calculated.
Debra Rose is a “facilitator” not a manger. She relies on consultants to do her work. She rolled over and accepted the largest percentage increase from OCSD at
5.29% we lost a CSO and are still at 31 deputies after building 600 homes in the Meadows!!
She has an Assistant CM; Keith Neves a Deputy City Manager; Sean McGovern What actually does she do to earn $300K+ salary? She doesn’t mange a police department, fire department or Public Works. 65 employees??? Page End
