MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER at 5:14 p.m. by Mayor Pe in the Activity Room, William J. Burns Community Center, 5510 Clark Avenue, Lakewood, California.

LAKEWOOD CITY COUNCIL GOVERNANCE WORKSHOP
City Manager Thaddeus McCormack provided an introduction and explained the purpose of the workshop. He introduced Michael Shellito, consultant, who would facilitate the workshop.
Mr. Shellito provided an overview and agenda of the workshop. The workshop proceeded with discussion on the City’s adopted Overarching Goals as part of the Vision, Mission and Values; the most important results to be accomplished by City staff in the next year; and innovation initiatives and opportunities.

ORAL COMMUNICATIONS:
Phillip Norris, Lakewood, addressed the City Council regarding classification studies, volunteering data, Measure H, public safety, community involvement and traffic safety ideas. . . .
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to be brought before the City Council, Mayor Pe adjourned the meeting at 8:55 p.m.
