BUDGET STUDY SESSION
City Manager Thaddeus McCormack provided a brief summary of current budget conditions.
Jose Gomez, Director of Finance and Administrative Services, displayed slides and made a presentation based on the report in the agenda. He highlighted the City’s budget principles of prudent fiscal management, strong financial oversight and living within our means; historic budget strategy; Measure L benefits; regional financial outlook; general fund budget; the City’s financial outlook; FY2025-26 general fund revenues; noteworthy revenues; FY2025−26 departmental expenditures; proposed personnel adjustments; noteworthy expenditure adjustments; water utility fund budget; noteworthy water budget items; and budget summary.
Staff responded to questions and comments from Council Members regarding traffic signal and street lighting improvements, street maintenance, law enforcement service levels, homeless services and partnership with the Chamber of Commerce. . . .

There being no further business to be brought before the City Council, Mayor Rogers adjourned the meeting at 7:08 p.m.
