Subject: Road Easement acceptance for APN 3123-015-908 (15th Street West) Recommendations:
The City Council:
1) Adopt Resolution No. , accepting Road Easement for APN 3123-015-908, for 15 th Street West.
2) Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to execute all related documents.
The Housing Authority:
1) Adopt Resolution No. HA , granting Road Easement for APN 3123-015-908, for 15th Street West, to the City of Lancaster.
2) Authorize the Executive Director, or his designee, to execute all related documents.
Fiscal Impact:
None.
Background:
Resolution No. 21-19 for the Lancaster Health District Master Plan (Master Plan) was adopted and approved by City Council on April 27, 2021. The Master Plan provides direction for a development and buildout strategy around the Antelope Valley Hospital over a 20-year period. In 1 4

addition to a rebuilt hospital, mixed-use development is proposed, including medical and general offices; retail and commercial uses; housing; and hospitality.
The proposed construction of a parkway planter will cross through a portion of an 8,380 square- foot vacant lot, identified as Assessor’s Parcel Number 3123-015-908, and owned by the Housing Authority (“Authority”). The total right-of-way acquisition to be granted is approximately 1,189 square feet.
