Subject: Consideration for approval of actions in connection with Successor Agency-owned parcels related to compliance with the Surplus Land Act and a Purchase and Sale Agreement with the City of Lancaster
Recommendations:
1. Adopt Resolution No. , declaring the following Successor Agency-owned property as “exempt surplus land” pursuant to Government Code Section 54221 (f)(1)(d).
2. Authorize the Executive Director, or his designee, to execute all related documents.
Fiscal Impact:
None.
Background:
On February 27, 2024, the Successor Agency approved a purchase and sale agreement and adopted a resolution approving the sale of 110 parcels from the Successor Agency to the City of Lancaster.
In the same action, the Successor Agency approved the adoption of a resolution declaring the associated Successor Agency-owned property as “exempt surplus land” pursuant to Government Code Section 54221 (f)(1)(d). Due to a technical glitch, this resolution was not attached to the final version of the agenda. Thus, staff is again requesting adoption of this resolution, with the resolution attached.
