Subject: Authorization for Additional Budget for Aspen Environmental Group for the Parkway Village Specific Plan Environmental Impact
Recommendation:
Approve Additional Authorization No. 1 for the Aspen Environmental Group to amend the Professional Services Agreement for the preparation of the Parkway Village Specific Plan Environmental Impact Report.
Fiscal Impact:
$101,743.26; sufficient funds are available from grant funds received from the California Department of Housing and Urban Development (HCD) Local Early Action Planning (LEAP) grant. This grant fund is in Account No. 23021000.5656.
Background:
Since the start of the project, the scope and size of the plan area has increased necessitating additional planning and environmental efforts. Aspen Environmental Group has requested a budget amendment in the amount of $101,743.26, to cover the additional work required to prepare the EIR. The Parkway Village Specific Plan and associated Program EIR are anticipated to be complete and start the hearing process towards the end of summer.
