Recommendation:
1. Approve a three-year lease agreement with Race Communications.
2. Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to execute all contracts and associated documents.

Fiscal Impact:

Background:
Race Communications must lease City of Lancaster fiber to provide Internet Services at the Lancaster Municipal Stadium. This will allow Race Communications to service the AV Alta Soccer team.
The City of Lancaster operates a municipal fiber network to allow communications between city facilities and infrastructure, such as signalized traffic intersections. The City will lease Race two single-mode fibers between Race’s equipment at City Hall and the Municipal Stadium for three years or until Race can build out its own Fiber.
