Background:
The City has retained the services of DRL since 2006, and the Firm has continuously provided specialized code enforcement legal services to the City since that time. The Council stated a priority to expand the scope of city prosecutions to include misdemeanors. To support that effort, the City issued a request for proposals dated September 25, 2024 (the “RFP”) for code enforcement and city prosecutor services. Four firms submitted responses to the RFP. DRL’s proposal was determined to be the most advantageous to the City based upon experience, qualifications, methodology and cost effectiveness.
