A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LANCASTER, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE ESTABLISHED
CITYWIDE FEE SCHEDULE BY ESTABLISHING FEES
RELATED TO THE CITY’S MEMORIAL BENCH PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Memorial Bench Program is a newly established community program to provide residents with a meaningful way to honor loved ones through the installation of personalized benches in City park; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to ensure the sustainability of the Memorial Bench Program; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to recover costs to contribute to the purchase, maintenance, upkeep, and replacement of the Memorial Benches; and
WHEREAS, the City seeks to establish Memorial Bench fees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LANCASTER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Fees for the Memorial Bench Program are hereby established in the amount of $3,500.
Section 2. The effective date of this Resolution shall be March 25, 2025.
Section 3. Any Resolutions in conflict with provisions stated herein shall be considered superseded by the provisions contained with this Resolution.
