RESOLUTION NO. 25-__
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LANCASTER,
CALIFORNIA, DESIGNATING AN INDEPENDENT HEARING OFFICER TO HEAR APPEALS PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 2.44 OF THE LANCASTER
MUNICIPAL CODE
WHEREAS, Section 2.44.010 of the Lancaster Municipal Code authorizes the City Council to, by resolution, designate an independent hearing officer to hear appeals of any decision, determination, or order from which the right of appeal is granted by the Lancaster Municipal Code or other provision of law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to so designate a hearing officer to hear appeals of any decision, determination, or order from which the right of appeal is granted by the Lancaster Municipal Code or other provision of law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LANCASTER, STATE OF CALIFORNIA:
Section 1. That the foregoing recitals are true and correct and constitute a substantive part of this Resolution.
Section 2. An independent hearing officer is designated pursuant to Section 2.44.010 of the Lancaster Municipal Code to hear all appeals of any decision, determination, or order from which the right of appeal is granted by the Lancaster Municipal Code or other provision of law.
Section 3. That the provisions of this Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.
Section 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution and enter it into the book of original Resolutions. 4 4
