Recommendation:
Approve Resolution No. 25-XX, authorizing the City Manager, or his designee, to apply for $9,705,060 of funds available to the City of Lancaster from Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA).

Fiscal Impact:
The application includes a request of FY 2024-25 allocation in the amount of $9,705,060, leaving a reserve amount of $785,286 for future use.
Background:
Annually, Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority allocates Transportation Development Act (TDA) Article 8 funds to fund unmet transit needs in areas outside the Metro service area.
TDA Article 8 revenues will be used by the City to fund the following Council-approved and budgeted Capital Improvement Projects and operating transfers:
· Edgeline Refresh Project
· Commercial Driveway Access Mods
· High Vis Crosswalk Standardization
· HSIP Guardrail
· PMP – RB NBH
