Subject:Community Cleanup Program Implementation and Appropriation of Funds Recommendations:
1. Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to implement a Community Cleanup Program, and direct City staff to provide additional graffiti and illegal dumping abatement services.
2. Appropriate $75,000.00 in General Funds from fund balance to Operating Budget account GL 101410000.5318.
3. Appropriate $105,000.00 in General Funds from fund balance to Operating Budget account GL 101410000.5103.
4. Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to execute all related documents.
Fiscal Impact:
$180,000.00.
Background:
The proposed Community Cleanup Program is designed to enhance neighborhood pride, reduce blight, and improve the quality of life.
