Subject:Contract to Extend Security Coverage at Lancaster Police Station Recommendation:
The City of Lancaster Police Department would like to extend the security contract with Sentry Protective Services to cover services from April 23, 2026, through June 30, 2026.
Fiscal Impact:
The cost for this extended coverage will be $39,480.00. These funds will be withdrawn from account 10130000.5710.

Background:
The Police Station currently needs night coverage and 24-hour coverage on the weekends.
Starting July 1, 2026, the Police Department should have Security Assistants in place to handle the overnight and weekend coverage.
