Approve Resolution No. 26-XX, authorizing the City Manager, or his designee, to apply for $7,270,694 of funds available to the City of Lancaster from Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA).

Fiscal Impact:
The application includes a request of FY 2025-26 allocation in the amount of $7,270,694, leaving a reserve amount of $1,645,600.94 for future use.
Background:
Annually, Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority allocates Transportation Development Act (TDA) Article 8 funds to fund unmet transit needs in areas outside the Metro service area.
TDA Article 8 revenues will be used by the City to fund the following Council-approved and budgeted Capital Improvement Projects and operating transfers:
· Commercial Driveway Access Mods
· High Vis Crosswalk Standardization
· HSIP Guardrail
· PMP – RB NBH
