None.

Background:

The Sierra Gateway Neighborhood Plan is a Specific Plan that would provide direction for future development within the plan area. The Specific Plan is intended to replace the existing Transit- Oriented Development (TOD) Zones plan, which was a form-based plan interpreting the previous Mixed-Use zoning designation, and to adopt a new Specific Plan to allow for more flexible land uses, simplified zoning, streamlined development standards, design guidelines, public realm 2 4

improvements, and implementation strategies. The intent of this plan is to support walkable, mixed-use, development patterns that will create new opportunities for housing development near the Lancaster Metrolink Station and promote additional opportunities for jobs and a mix of commercial uses. There is no construction associated with the proposed specific plan, and future development would be subject to separate approval. Existing legal non-conforming uses within the plan area would not be removed as part of this proposal.

Public Noticing:

Public noticing was published in compliance with the Government Code on August 15, 2026.
