Approve the purchase of two Supermicro servers from Logicalis, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $181,835.58, including estimated sales tax, for deployment in the City of Lancaster's on-premises data center; and authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute all documents necessary to complete the purchase.

Background:
The City of Lancaster operates an on-premises data center at City Hall that supports City technology services and systems. To maintain the capacity, reliability, and resiliency of this environment, Information Technology has identified the need to add two new enterprise servers.
The proposed servers will provide additional compute and storage resources for the City's onpremises infrastructure and support continued operation of City applications and data that cannot be ran in the cloud as well as provide onsite compute resources for disaster recovery scenarios when the cloud may not be reachable or available.
The proposed configuration includes two Supermicro server platforms equipped for enterprise data-center use. Across the two-server configuration are four AMD Turin 9115 processors, eight 32 GB DDR5 ECC memory modules, twenty 18 TB enterprise SAS hard drives, four 15.36 TB enterprise SAS solid-state drives, four 480 GB NVMe solid-state drives, dual-port 10 GbE network interfaces, RAID/storage controllers, and Supermicro system management software. Also, the proposal provides five-year on-site next-business-day service for both servers.
Purchasing both servers as a matched configuration also supports consistency in administration, maintenance, and future capacity planning. The procurement will be made using the pricing identified in the Logicalis quote, which states that it adheres to CMAS Contract No. 3-14-70- 3040B.
