SPECIAL MEETING
Mayor Hillmer called the regular meeting to order at 11:00 a.m.
1. ROLL CALL
COUNCIL PRESENT: Kevin Haroff, Gabe Paulson, Catherine Way, and Mayor Dan Hillmer
COUNCIL ABSENT: Scot Candell
STAFF PRESENT: City Clerk Alison Foulis, City Manager Dan Schwarz, Community Development Director Elise Semonian, and City Attorney Sky Woodruff
2. PUBLIC COMMENT
No one from the public wished to comment.
3. BUSINESS ITEMS
3.1 URGENCY ORDINANCE BARRING EVICTIONS DUE TO IMPACTS FROM THE PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY ARISING FROM THE COVID-19 VIRUS Recommendation: Adopt an urgency ordinance barring evictions of residential tenants for nonpayment of rent due to the ongoing impact of the Public Health Emergency arising from COVID-19.
Community Development Director Semonian provided a presentation to the Council and answered questions.
The Council received public comment from:

Upon motion by Councilmember Way, seconded by Vice Mayor Paulson, the City Council adopted Urgency Ordinance 1058 barring evictions in the City of Larkspur due to the local state of emergency arising from COVID-19. The vote was unanimously in favor (Candell absent).

The Council adjourned the meeting at 11:27 a.m.
