• During the Lathrop Rd Widening construction project, the City contractor installed driveway transitions • The property owner of 570 Lathrop Road decided not to sign a Right of Entry Agreement after multiple requests by staff
August
2023
• During the August 14, 2023 Council Meeting, the property owner of 570 Lathrop Road made a request for the City to construct their driveway transition.
• Council requested staff to bring an item for the discussion of the construction of the driveway transition September
2023
• Council approved the creation of CIP GG 24-27 for Lathrop Road Residential Driveway Reconstruction • Council approved allocation of $20,000 to pay for construction costs January 2024
• Staff issued the informal bid solicitation package and received (5) bids • The lowest responsive and responsible bidder was determined to be Dirt Dynasty, Inc. with a bid of $40,492
RECOMMENDATION
5 Discuss and Consider awarding construction contract to Dirt Dynasty, Inc. for the Lathrop Road Residential Driveway Reconstruction, CIP GG 24-27.
Discuss and Consider approving a budget amendment transferring $25,000 from the General Fund Streets Reserves to pay for construction of the project with a total construction cost of $44,541.
