Why do you wish to serve as an appointed member of the City Council:

I wish to serve as an appointed member of the City Council because I have a deep desire to give back to the community that has been such an integral part of my life. Growing up in this region, I have seen firsthand both the challenges we face and the resilience and potential of our community. I believe that public service is one of the most impactful ways to contribute to positive change, and serving on the City Council would allow me to advocate for the needs of our residents, promote thoughtful and inclusive policies, and help shape a prosperous future for our city.

I am passionate about fostering a community where all voices are heard, resources are used wisely, and opportunities are created for everyone to succeed. I am strongly committed to collaboration, problem-solving, and finding balanced solutions to complex challenges. This role would provide a unique opportunity to serve the public to create meaningful change. I would be honored to dedicate my time and energy to serving the city that has given me so much and to help ensure it remains a vibrant and welcoming place for future generations.

What would you bring by way of perspective or experience to the City Council:

I bring a combination of professional experience, academic knowledge, and personal dedication to serving our city. My background includes working as a consultant for the City of San Francisco, where I gained hands-on experience in addressing the complex challenges municipal governments face. Growing up with a father who worked for the City of Tracy, I developed a deep understanding of the workings of local government and the importance of public service.

My academic training in city planning has further equipped me with the tools to analyze and address urban issues thoughtfully and strategically. Additionally, my current roles on the River Islands Advisory Committee and as the City of Lathrop's representative on the County Mosquito and Vector District demonstrate my commitment to our city's well-being and my ability to collaborate effectively on behalf of the residents.

This unique combination of professional, academic, and civic engagement gives me a well- rounded perspective and a strong foundation to contribute meaningfully to the City Council.
