\Good afternoon, Teresa, thank you for your phone call… Please see the letter below and please have it read at the meeting Monday night, January 6.

My name is Greg Leland, I am a retired principal of Lathrop High School, and I am currently the president of the Lathrop Sunrise Rotary. Since coming to Lathrop in 2015, I have been in awe of everything Steve and Joyce Dresser have done for the community of Lathrop. Steve recruited me to become a member of the Lathrop Sunrise Rotary, and I have proudly served alongside him for the past 10 years. Our motto, Service Above Self, is something that Steve has lived and breathed his entire life. In the recently held Lathrop city Council election, 3,400 citizens from Lathrop voted for Steve Dresser for a position on the Lathrop City Council, proving that he has the support and trust of many. He has served multiple times as a city council member in the past as well as a planning commissioner. He has served on a variety of different committees in Lathrop, chairing at least four of those committees. Currently, he is serving as a Director on the Lathrop Manteca Fire Board.

Over the years, Steve and his wife have been an instrumental part of so many wonderful events in the City of Lathrop, including events at the Lathrop Senior Center, Flags Over Lathrop, Monthly Senior Citizen breakfasts, Thanksgiving Dinner for the community, Charles Palmer Troop Packing events, and so many other things.

The leadership and experience of Steve would truly be a valuable addition to the Lathrop City Council, and I truly believe you will make the fair and just decision tonight of adding him to your prestigious Council.

Thank you,
Greg Leland
Retired Lathrop H.S. Principal
Co-President Lathrop Sunrise Rotary Club
