Mayor Pullen-Miles called the meeting to order at 6:34 p.m. in the Hofmann Community Center meeting room, 14700 Burin Avenue, Lawndale, California.

1. Discussion between City Officials and Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Officials Regarding Matters of Mutual Concern
The City Council, Operations Lieutenant Monica Botello and City Manager Sean M. Moore discussed the following:
• State of the Lawndale Sheriff’s Service Center and Sheriff Deputies • Response from the Sheriff Department to calls for service and crime reports in the City • Deputy staffing levels and schedules
• State of the patrol vehicles
• Security of personal deputy vehicles
• Security cameras at Sheriff’s Service Center
• Catalytic converter theft prevention
