LAWNDALE CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING
December 3, 2025
A. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
Mayor Pullen-Miles called the meeting to order at 6:31 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chamber, 14717 Burin Avenue, Lawndale, California.

B. CEREMONIALS (Flag Salute)
Councilmember Cuevas led the flag salute.
C. PRESENTATIONS
1. Time Capsule Opening
- Opening of the City of Lawndale Time Capsule last dedicated in December 2000.
Mayor Pullen-Miles presented the Opening of the City of Lawndale Time Capsule, originally dedicated in December 2000, and introduced a video of the time capsule event held in December 2000.
Mayor Pullen-Miles thanked staff and the contractor for their efforts in locating and removing the time capsule.
Public Works staff opened the time capsule.
The Mayor, City Councilmembers, and City Clerk Harbison took turns presenting the items contained in the time capsule.
Mayor Pullen-Miles presented the items on display that will be placed in the time capsule for reopening in 2050 and invited the public to view the items at the display table.
Mayor Pullen-Miles thanked former City Clerk Paula Hartwill and former Councilmember Rhonda Hofmann Gorman for attending.
D. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to conduct, Mayor Pullen-Miles invited all in attendance to a reception in the lobby and adjourned the meeting at 7:07 p.m.
