Call to Order
Mayor Alysson Snow called the regular City Council meeting to order at 6:04 p.m.

City Manager Lydia Romero provided an update, stating that she is still coordinating with the Quinty offanD City to final me date for a sile study ses pu. The session will not be held.

Action: Approved the minutes of the Lemon Grove City Council meeting held on January 7, 2025.
1.C City of Lemon Grove Payment Demands
Action: Ratified demands covering December 4, 2024 through January 7, 2025.

2. Establish Measure T Oversight Committee and Call for Applications Mayor Snow introduced the item by title.
Finance Director Stacey Tang and Senior Management Analyst Portland Bates presented the report.
Mayor Snow opened the public comment period.

Action: Motion by Councilmember Mendoza, second by Councilmember Faiai to:
1) Discuss and provided direction on the formation of the Measure T Oversight Committee
2) Gave direction to staff regarding the appointment process; and Committee Structure: Five-member body with staggered terms.
Application Updates: Implement necessary revisions.

Outreach Efforts: Publicize the application process through social media, city events, and newsletters.
3) Adopted Resolution No. 2025 - 4083 establishing a recruitment process for five (5) members of the Measure T Oversight Committee.

City Manager's Report
City Manager Romero provided the following updates:
Date Night Event: The City will host a Date Night on Valentine's Day (Friday, February 14, 2025) at the Recreation Center. Parents can drop off their kids for a fun night of pizza, movies, and cratts, while they enjoy a night out. Local businesses will offer specials for participating parents.
Road Rehabilitation Project: The $5-$6 million road work project will begin on February 10, 2023, lasting three months. It will include resurfacing Broadway and Massachusetts, with nighttime work to avoid traffic disruptions. Updates and a list of affected streets will be available on the City's website.
