Call to Order
Mayor Snow convened the Special City Council meeting at 6:02 p.m.
Mayor Alysson Snow, Mayor Pro-Tem Jennifer Mendoza, Councilmember Jessyka Heredia, Councilmember Yadira Altamirano, Councilmember Steve Faiai Staff Members Present
City Manager Lydia Romero, City Attorney Kristen Steinke, City Clerk Joel G. Pablo, Accounting Analyst Marco Rodriguez, Senior Management Analyst Portland Bates, Community Development Manager Michael Fellows, Finance Director Stacey Tang, Public Works Director Izzy Murguia, Division Chief - Administration/Emergency Medical Jon Nevin with Heartland Fire and Rescue.
Pledge of Allegiance
Councilmember Faiai led the Pledge of Allegiance.
City Council Team Building and Priority Setting for Fiscal Year 2025-26 City Manager Lydia Romero provided introductory remarks and introduced John Gavares of the Gavares Group who led the team building exercise.
City Council heard an update on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2024-25 priorities from City Manager Romero. Mr. Garvares lead the Council on the remainder of the priority setting exercise for FY2025-26.
Public Comment
Mayor Snow opened the public comment period. The following individuals provided public comment: Ken King, Mat Kostrinsky with American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Local 127, Rhasaan Benson, Brenda Hammond, Liana LeBaron, Victoria, Minola Clark Manson and Seth Smith. Mayor Snow closed the public comment period.
Adjournment
There being no further business to come before the City Council, Mayor Snow adjourned the meeting at 8:22 p.m.
