Mal to Orde convened the Special City Council meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.
Roll Call
Present: Mayor Alysson Snow, Mayor Pro Tem Jessyka Heredia, Councilmember Jennifer Mendoza (arrived at 5:12 p.m.), Councilmember Yadira Altamirano (arrived at 5:05 p.m.), Staff Present
Acting City Manager Izzy Murguia, City Attorney Kristen Steinke, City Clerk Joel G. Pablo and County of San Diego Sheriff's Department Lt. Joseph Barry Pledge of Allegiance
The assembly recited the Pledge of Allegiance
Changes to the Agenda
City Clerk Pablo stated there were no changes to the agenda.
Closed Session
Mayor Snow opened the public comment period. No oral or written public comment were directed to the City Council.
City Attorney read the Council into Closed Session.
a. Public Employment (Government Code §54957): City Manager The City Council reconvened from Closed Session at 7:12 p.m. with all Councilmembers present.
City Attorney Steinke reported there was no reportable action from Closed Session and staff was provided with general direction.
Adjournment
Mayor Snow adjourned the meeting at 7:13 p.m. and stated that the next regular City Council meeting will be on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.
