C

1. A
ngela, residing on Todd Lane in Placer County, stated her family owns a 1-acre par
cel that they cannot sell because Placer County won’t allow a new water well because their property is too close to connect and half of Todd Lane is in the County and other half is in the City. She stated her family had also purchased a larger 10-acre that they would like to get City service on.
Cit
y Council discussion ensued on where does the City stop if they allow one parcel to connect and the need for a consistent policy. City Council consensus was to direct staff to bring back a draft policy to consider small property owner requests (for property owners immediately adjacent to the City’s boundary) on a case-by-case basis but to not allow for large projects. Sean stated he would set up a meeting with Angela and call Placer County together to try to get an answer back to her.
