Subject: Scheiber property/Liberty lot F park/new homes Date: Saturday, July 25, 2026 4:39:48 PM
Hi Mikaela, my name is Michelle Risse. My husband Greg and I own the property just west of the Liberty lot park proposal and new home development just north of Moore road (Scheiber property) We have some concerns with the development coming as this will possibly bring potential problems for our livestock. We raise Longhorn cattle and keep them a good part of the year on the open space land we own.

We would like to see something done to keep
people out and off our property and keep children and our animals safe from the mischief that comes with teenage children.

Fencing, signage, ect…,. An idea would be to have a 6’ rod iron fence along the western boundary of your project which is contiguous to our property and along the entire open space northern boundaries. If this is possible can you include a 14’ wide emergency gate for fires ect… that allows access to our properties in the event of an emergency ect…
We also raise horse’s and have riding trails on our property. We met with Phil Rodriguez a couple of weeks ago. We discussed these things and the potential for adding an equine trail as well as your already proposed bike/pedestrian trail to the open space/park.

Lastly, would it be possible to move the dog park to the opposite end, east side of the project, as dogs can be problematic to horses and cattle and according to your proposed map you now have it next to a horse boarding facility.

I hope you will take this email into consideration.

Sincerely,
Michelle Risse
