Agenda Item 1: Public Comment (none)
Agenda Item 2.1: Wellness Center Events and Programming Update Stephanie updates that she has been named Interim Director of Recreation; former Interim Milt Stowe’s last day was January 12, 2023. Facility rentals on the uptick, several event rentals scheduled for January and upcoming months.
Healthy Lindsay/Healthy Community Annual Health Fair – March 25th Polar Plunge – Fundraiser for the Tulare County Special Olympics: March 25th 2nd Annual Lindsay Family Campout scheduled for April 29-30th.
Summer Night Lights events planned, applications accepted beginning March 1st.
Agenda Item 2.2: Wellness Center Memberships/Fees Update Stephanie updates on current membership fee increase, which will go into effect February 11th. Mentions of a year-long calendar which could be updated to include all sports/recreational programs and seasons.
Agenda Item 2.3: Wellness Center Facility Improvements/Capital Outlay Projects Update Stephanie discusses the progress of the pool replastering (underway, to be completed by mid February), installation of lighting (in progress). HVAC quotes are in, RFPs are in process. Will update next meeting as to new progress.
