COUNCILMEMBER COMMENTS
Councilmember Santana inquired about the amount of funding which has been spent on the Measure G campaign effort. She also inquired if seated councilmembers could endorse candidates running for city council.

Mayor Chapdelaine reported on his attendance at the Regional Housing Authority Board of Commissioners meeting and discussed the upcoming SACOG meeting scheduled for tomorrow. He also provided an update on the System Preservation Grant included on the Board's agenda. The Board is considering two options for funding recommendations, and Live Oak is included in both options. Under either option, Live Oak is recommended to receive approximately $1.1 million in funding. The project would include Larkin from city limit to city limit, as well as Larkin on the east side of Highway 99 extending north to Riviera. Mayor Chapdelaine also discussed meeting with the grant team to determine which projects would rate the best for available funding. He noted that another grant application was recently submitted for the sidewalk gap closure project on Pennington.

Mayor Chapdelaine expressed his appreciation to the City Manager and staff for their work in securing grant funding and making the City's applications as competitive as possible.
