CITY COUNCIL SUBCOMMITTEE ON ADVISORY BODIES
FEBRUARY 2, 2022
SPECIAL WORKSHOP MEETING
1. CALL TO ORDER – The meeting of the City Council Subcommittee on Advisory Bodies was called to order by Vice Mayor Regina Bonanno at 5:00 pm, remotely using Zoom.
2. ROLL CALL – Present: Vice Mayor Regina Bonanno and Council Member Brittni Kiick, Nancy Blair LARPD, Evelyn Arroyo Chair LAYAC.
3. SUBCOMMITTEE MEETING ITEM
Vice Mayor Bonanno opened the public comment period.
There were no speakers and the public comment period was closed.
3.1 Interview of applicants for appointment to City Advisory Bodies.
Recommendation:
Staff recommends the subcommittee interview applicants for the Beautification Committee, Historic Preservation Commission, Human Services Commission, and Livermore Area Youth Advisory Commission ( LAYAC).
THE CITY COUNCIL SUBCOMMITTEE ADMINISTERED THE INTERVIEWS.
THE FOLLOWING WERE RECOMMENDED FOR APPOINTMENT BY CITY
COUNCIL:
Livermore Area Youth Advisory Commission ( LAYAC) – 1 adult vacancy Unexpired term ending September 1, 2023
Neha Sabharwal – Adult
Beautification Committee – 1 vacancy
Unexpired term ending June 1, 2023
Sucharitha Rallapalli
Human Services Commission – 2 vacancies
Unexpired term ending November 1, 2022 and regular term ending November 1, 2026
Kathleen La Point- Collup
Unexpired term ending November 1, 2023
Ajay Arora

4. ADJOURNMENT – at 6:08 pm
City Council Rules of Procedure 7.10.2c
If no Council Members are eligible to approve the minutes for a City Council meeting, then the City Clerk shall attest to the accuracy of the meeting minutes and enter them into official minute books of the City Council.
