SPECIAL WORKSHOP MEETING
1. CALL TO ORDER – The meeting of the City Council was called to order by Mayor Bob Woerner at 6:00 pm, held in person at 1016 S. Livermore Avenue and remotely using Zoom and YouTube.
2. ROLL CALL – Present: Mayor John Marchand and Council Members Evan Branning, and Robert W. Carling
Absent: Vice Mayor Brittni Kiick and Council Member Ben Barrientos

3. SPECIAL MEETING WORKSHOP ITEM
AN OPPORTUNITY FOR THE PUBLIC TO ADDRESS THE CITY COUNCIL
REGARDING THE SPECIAL MEETING ITEM WILL BE PROVIDED BY THE MAYOR.
3.1 Ratification of Local Emergency
Recommendation: Staff recommends the City Council adopt a resolution ratifying the Director of Emergency Services' Proclamation of Local Emergency.
City Manager Marianna Marysheva presented the staff report.
Mayor Marchand opened the public comment portion of the meeting.
There were no speakers and the public comment period was closed.
ON THE MOTION OF CM CARLING , SECONDED BY CM BRANNING AND CARRIED ON A 5 -0 VOTE, THE CITY COUNCIL ADOPTED THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION:
Resolution 2023-001 ratifying proclamation 23 -01 of the director of emergency services concerning the existence of a local emergency, and making teleconferencing determinatons required by government code section 54953
8. ADJOURNMENT – at 6:06 pm to a Regular City Council Meeting on Monday, January 23, 2023 at 7:00 pm, Civic Center Meeting Hall, City Council Chambers, 1016 S. Livermore Avenue and virtually using Zoom.
