Exercise Caution: This message is from outside the City email system. Do not open links or attachments from untrusted sources.
HI Helena,
I would like to submit my request by email vs in person. I have to attend my daughters softball game.
My concern stems from the amount of traffic that is being routed through Concannon onto South Livermore, then onto Tesla for access to South Tracy. This has become a chokepoint, causing standstill traffic. I have three daughters who attend Our Savior School, and it has caused delays in getting my daughters. I think that this poses a safety risk as those are one-way streets and people are trapped until they can turn safely at the light. If a medical emergency happened in those neighborhoods, it would delay access to safety services. The roads are also extremely worn now from traffic, leading to additional potholes. In the morning, I see a number of folks running red lights turning from Tesla to Concannon right next to the school. I'm urging the city to contact Waze and Apple Maps to not publish that route as a time- saving method to access Highway 84.
In the interim, I ask the city of Livermore to increase police patrols in the morning and afternoon.
Best,
Nathan
