SUBJECT: Modification for the Lineup of 60th Anniversary Special Events
RECOMMENDATION
Appropriate an additional $12,253 from available funds in the General Fund for the 60th Anniversary events, including two additional Concerts on the Lawn at City Hall.
BACKGROUND
On October 7, 2024, the City Council met during a special Study Session to discuss the 60th Anniversary Special Events and related budget.
DISCUSSION
After discussion, the City Council directed staff to cancel the 60th Anniversary Parade, and add two additional Concerts on the lawn at City Hall (dates TBD). The cost for the remainder of the events, plus an additional two concerns, will require an additional $12,253 in the current Adopted Budget.
FISCAL IMPACT
An additional $12,253 is available in the General Fund to cover the cost of the 60th Anniversary events for the FY 24 Adopted Budget.
OPTIONS

2. Provide staff alternative direction.
